Python Job: Senior Azure Cloud Architect - Infrastructure

Position Description:

CGI is looking for talented hands-on technical application architects and senior engineers to help accelerate our growing Cloud Services practice. Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for hands-on architects and engineers who will:

• Work as a technical leader alongside client’s business, development and infrastructure teams
• Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives to help enterprises speed their adoption of new technologies and practices
• Architect and building highly scalable, cloud-native applications on hyperscale cloud platforms.
• Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)
• Migrate monolithic applications to micro services architectures
• Advise on implementing applications leveraging Cloud best practices
• Influence infrastructure architecture by sharing your application development expertise

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred
• Extensive shell scripting experience
• Knowledge of Python
• Excellent knowledge in Groovy, Jenkins(or comparable tools)
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code solution such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef, hands-on experience in cloud provisioning tools
• Practical knowledge of CloudFormation, Terraform
• Experience in Linux O/S
• Knowledge of fundamental networking: VNet pairing, TCP/IP; BGP, DNS, Load Balancing
• Cloud Infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, Apache, NGINX, Chef, Puppet, Docker, GitHub, Jira; others: SSO, SAML, SFTP, PM2, load-balancing, auto-scaling, and automated testing
• Hands-on experience with Rules Based Access and Control (RBAC), SSL

Salary: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
